Audit


  • South West and Wales Regional Study, Flexor tendon Audit: This audit was in conjunction with the hand physiotherapy team and looking at outcomes of flexor tendon repair at 6 weeks in our department. November 2009.
  •  'See and Treat' Plastic Clinic Audit: This audit was of the 'see and treat' clinics in Derriford hospital in March 2006, changes were implemented on the outcome of the audit and then the clinics re-audited in February 2007.
  • South West and Wales Regional Skin Cancer Audit: This was an audit of waiting times for referral and time to surgery for skin cancer in Bristol presented at our regional meeting. November 2004.
  • Anal Fissure:This was a two-part study on anal fissures, the first part being a review of fissure healing and incidence of incontinence following sphincterotomy and the second being a questionnaire follow up. May 2003.
  • AO spiral Blade Plate[Orthopaedics]: This audit looked at AO spiral Blade Plates used for fixation of subtrochanteric fractures of femur and its associated complications in our departmental meeting in New Cross Hospital, Wolverhampton and compared it with national standards. July 2002
